Adding additional email aliases to your Biba account

If you have more than one email address (and these days, who doesn't?), you can add them to your Biba account.

 

This means that your colleagues don't have to know which email address to invite to scheduled meetings.  Or if you created multiple accounts, either by accident or while trying Biba out on a personal address before introducing it to your team, you can merge down to one account*

 

There are a few different ways you can manage email addresses on your Biba account:

Desktop:

Windows:  Go to Help > Settings and select the Account tab

Mac:  Go to Biba Menu > Preferences > Account and click the "+" to add an account.

Here you can add or remove email addresses, and change which address is the primary email for the account.  Biba emails will be sent to the primary address.

Mobile:

Go to Settings, and under Account, tap + Add email address.  Enter the email address you'd like to add.

Once listed, tap the email address to either remove or make the Primary.

If the email address you're adding does not have a Biba account associated:

The address will immediately be added to your account, and a notification will be sent to the added address letting you know that the address has been added to a Biba account, and lists the primary email address of the account.

FROM: Biba Support

You are receiving this email because Tom Treidman (tomt@bibademoco.com) has added this email address as an alias to an existing Biba account.

If you did not take this action or this is a shared email address, you can remove this email address from the account by contacting support@biba.com

 

If the email address you're adding already has a Biba account associated:

You will be alerted that the email address you're attempting to add already has a Biba account associated with it, and that an email has been sent (to the secondary address) with instructions on how to merge the accounts*.

*IMPORTANT:  The content of the secondary merged account will no longer be available, and merged accounts cannot be unmerged.

You recently requested for us to merge these Biba accounts:

To complete the merging of these accounts, click here. Note: this is not reversible.
If this was requested in error, ignore this email and these accounts will remain separate.

 

If the email address you're adding can't be merged with the primary:

Each enterprise domain gets its own organization when set up on Biba, and can have one person claim that organization as the owner. 

If your company has two domains, but two different people set them up as organizations on Biba and claimed them as owner, email addresses from the two orgs cannot be merged until both organizations have the same owner. 

The owner of an org can contact support@biba.com to have ownership changed so both organizations match, and then the accounts can be merged (must be owner of the org to be changed contacting support).

SUBJECT: Unable to Merge Biba Accounts

FROM: Biba Support

You recently requested for us to merge these Biba accounts:

  • tomt@bibademoco.com (requested merge)
  • ttreidman@bibademo.com


These email address cannot be merged because the they are each part of separate enterprise organization. For more information contact support@biba.com.
